Pop’s Pearls
Since I was a little girl, singing along with my dad, "Pop" to our family, while he played guitar has been among my favorite memories. But now, in the “long goodbye” as Alzheimer’s disease steals his wife Teri of 53+ years & my mom’s memory, songwriting has become healing. Processing his grief by writing original songs & prompting AI to set his Holy-Spirit-inspired lyrics to music has become my dad’s “accidental ministry.” While these songs follow his own personal journey in what he calls his “Teri Trial,” the heartbeat of their raw, real messages are both transferable and redemptive. They were written to encourage others who are also in the “Hurtin’ Heart Club” as they walk beside someone they love through a hard season. Press play, read the story behind each song, and let the words point you to the One who carries us: "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7, NIV)
Pop’s Pearls Starts Here
Pic with my parents. My sweet hubby encourages me to visit them every few months to love & support them as best as I can, since we live in different states. We cherish every moment together. Outdoor walks. Long talks. Tasks—helpful and hard. Meals together. Family visits. And more.

And the Prisoner Was Me
Forgiveness in every direction: owning your part, receiving mercy, and releasing wounds that never got an apology. Christ turns the key, and the prisoner turns out to be me.
